1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not? HATE talking on the phone. Do it too much at work.
2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone? Friend's husband.
3. About how many telephones do you have at home? Two
4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened? I HATE it when people leave voice mail messages and don't leave their phone number. Is that bad manners? To me it is!
5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not? Definitely e-mail. My friends who aren't online will rarely hear from me. Fortunately, lots of people seem to agree. Local family members often resort to e-mail rather than phoning.
Okay, sidetracked here, back to the sock yarn! The three balls of Opal were waiting for me in the mail when I returned home Friday, recent ebay purchases. And finally, the Fortissima Colori Mexiko Denim-Color was in my own LYS when I went in for something else on Saturday! It was something that I had wanted since seeing online pics of the socks knit up with this stuff, so of course I had to buy it!
This week brings yet another business trip. I plan to hit my favourite out-of-town LYS again, even though I was just there a week ago. I actually need to buy some sock yarn as a gift for a co-worker, as well as some circs to try doing socks on (branching out from using DPNs). This store is waiting for a shipment of Koigu, if it is in will I be able to withstand taking some home with me??
As far as actual knitting, I haven't really done much in the last week. I'm continuing with the Mexiko Colori socks, but still have a ways to go on them. I'm knitting the foot part now. They are my take-along on the road project. At home this weekend, I've been working on Topsecret. The body is done up to the part you add the arms, and one arm is done as well. I'm soooooo bored with this project, but am trying to make myself finish it when what I REALLY want to do is cast on for Sitcom Chic! Generally speaking, I always become antsy to begin the NEXT project!
