and felting in the washing machine as I type. They were fun to do, and knit up quite quickly as well. Here's a before felting picture if you'd like to see. They were knit in the Lamb's Pride yarn called for in the pattern (love this yarn!), colour is M-79 Blue Boy. I bought two skeins, but the pair took almost exactly one, so I'll be able to make another pair as a gift or use for another felting project. On a web/html note........I'd still like to know how to make the pictures/links pop up in a smaller window, so if you know how, please e-mail (link on the side) me and I'll be forever grateful!
I'm really wanting to knit a sweater in the round. I remembered that I have a lot of Bernat Illusions that I bought on sale to crochet an afghan with several years ago, and really have no interest in doing now. So I think I will try this pattern very soon.
On another note, I've been trying to figure out the HTML code that several bloggers use so that a smaller version of the image appears rather than the whole page. If anyone reading this is able to e-mail the directions/code to me, I'd be forever greatful!
Just finished this knit baby hat this morning. I initially thought that it was going to be too big, but once the decreases at the top were done and it was off the needles, it is fine. I used this basic hat pattern. The hat will be a baby shower gift for a co-worker, along with a crocheted afghan
and my personalized handmade soap.
I cast on a pair of confetti socks the other night, going to work on them a bit now before it's time to get ready for work.
Finished my third pair of socks today! Here's a picture. It was based on this pattern. Can you tell that I'm really into doing socks? Encouraging that each pair is easier, quicker, and nicer looking. Started a baby hat today as well, something to do while I wait for my yarn to come so that I can start the felt-a-long. Should hopefully be here the middle of this week, and then fuzzy feet will be my main knit project next weekend.
I think I need to do something about the organization (or lack thereof) of my stash. Was looking for the baby blanket that I crocheted a month or so ago, and couldn't find it. I thought it was somewhere in my stash pile, tore it apart but no sign of it. Then I remembered that it was probably still in a corner of the living room in my project bag. Phew! Oh well, my stash is much more organized now as a result!
